Happy Mother's Day - A Walk in the Park

First, Happy be-lated Mother's Day to all of you Mommys out there. This was Nicole's first Mother's Day. Joey designed a very nice hardback photo book for his Mommy on kodak.com. He did a very good job actually - smart kid. Cousin Michael Federico was over and we took a walk to the park by Wyncliffe Heights. Have fun checking out the pics. The last pic is by far the greatest of all time.

Ice Cream of the Future

My first encounter with this futuristic experiment was back in 1992 at Typhoon Lagoon. Little did I know that Dippin' Dots would still be labelled as the Ice Cream of the Future 17 years later. At a recent trip to ACME, I was thrilled to see that these delicious droplets were on sale for 2 awesome reasons: 1.) Nicole does not get mad when things are on sale. 2.) This was the perfect opportunity to introduce my son to this out-of-this-world delicacy. Have fun checkin' out the pics and if you're still eating Breyer's, Where have you been for the last 17 years?

Some of Mommy's Old Favorites

Recently, most of Joey's pictures are taken while he is in his high chair because he does not sit still. Back in April, he sat nice on the couch for a few pics. These are some of Nicole's favorites:

Back in Time - 10 months

It might not have been Oct 26, 1985, but on April 14th, Joey turned 10 months. I have several pictures to catch up with but I especially want to make sure that each month was represented. Here are a few pictures of Joey when he was 10 months old.

Ocean City Vacation 2009

Hi guys. It's great to be back. If you still check this, thank you and I hope you enjoy.

We just got back from Ocean City. The 3 of us went for a few days just to get our fix.

This was Joey's 4th trip to the shore and he appeared to have an awesome time. He had Mack's two more times bringing his impressive total to 4. Find me another 14 month old without a shore house that can put up better numbers than that. He does really well on the beach playng in the sand and even had some fun down by the surf. Most interesting was his obsession with the crazy big kid rides at Playland which were across the street from the motel ("Hey, this ain't no motel," for my Problem Child fans out there). By the way, we stayed at the Impala and it was nice. He would point to the rides and yell or make his car noise. I asked Nicole to take of picture of Joey and me with the ride. It ended up as a picture of us near a van and a dumpster with the ride barely in the background. I hope you enjoy the pics. Thanks for coming back.

By the way by the way, sorry for the cheesy Terminator 2 reference but you were supposed to hit play.

Congratulations Uncle John and Aunt Nina

Hi Everybody. What an awesome weekend.

Congratulations to Johnny and Nina - the new Mister and Misses John Anthony Lafferty. I am very proud of my little brother and I am very excited that Nina is now an offcial member of the Lafferty Family. Nina, we love you and look forward to the many wonderful years ahead.

The wedding mass at St Dot's was nice. Thank goodnes it wasn't in their bad gym. Nina looked great in her dress and Johnny looked like Zach Effron. I'll always remember Lucas doing a great job carrying up the gifts, Joey in his tux eating Nicole's pearls and singing the Ave Maria, and Johnny stealing Nina's kneeler during the Ave Maria.

The reception was the awesomest(word?). I wanted to wear a Hulk Hogan mask but decided against that. The Hulk Hogan entrance was especially for my brother. Johnny and Nina coming out to Axl and dancing to Eddie Money was perfect. Stephen did an awesome job with his best man speech. The food was great and the band was great as well. Singing, Dancing, Drinking, what's not to like? How many times did I say great or awesome by the way? I can't wait to see the video. Great job by everyone and both families are great and seemed to have an awesome great great awesome time.

The hotel bar was fun to wrap up the night. Big Joe has laryngitis.

Again, congratulations to you guys. I am very very proud of the both of you. I stalked the photographer to steal some good pictures of my own. Make sure that you check out the pictures from the greens of the country club. I hope you all enjoy.
