More Christening Pics

Congratulations Joseph Louis

We had such an awesome time yesterday at Joey's Christening. The weather was great. His outfit was sharp. The ceremony at Holy Cross was very nice. The Heritage did a great job and we know everyone loved the cake and the Aunt's cookies.

Nicole and I are so blessed to have Joey and he was such a good boy. He waited until we got home to cry of course. Thank you for sharing our day with us. Joey is lucky to have a special group of family and friends. He appreciates everything. He told me!

Turn That Frown Upside Down

Our little guy is developing quite the personality already and some of the stuff is pretty funny.

I'm no Mark Morrison, but I've been singing to Joey since he was in his Mommy's belly. My favorite song to sing has been, "Take me out to the Ballgame." At a recent Phillies game, I purchased a Build a Phanatic for Joey (about $40). When you squeeze his hand, it plays take me out to the ballgame (additional $8). To our surprise, when you play the song for him, he actually frowns and pouts. While we do feel bad that he doesn't like it, it is hysterical to watch him do this. Even though I think she's crazy, Nicole believes that she can make Joey smile. I haven't seen it yet. I think she just bothers him more than me to the point that it looks like he is smiling. I just let him relax and watch Spiderman cartoons with me. Either way, here are two pictures of a younger slimmer Joey caught in the act while sleeping.

Joey really enjoys his bath time. I hope this keeps up. We don't want him to be a dirt ball like 2 of his uncles. Here's a picture of Joey drying off after a nice bath.

And finally, Nicole took Joey to work the other day. During his visit, he took a huge dump. Awesome stuff. Even though I don't have a picture for this, here is one of my favorites:

2 Months Old

It's crazy that our little man is 2 months old already and what an interesting time it is right now. Joey's been crying a lot lately because he does not know what to do with himself. We've tried singing, dancing, reading, watching wrestling, and playing video games but he is not into any of that yet. You watch though, he'll be on the ball field soon. I've attached 3 pictures today: the first is at birth in the OR, the second is at 1 month, and the third was taken yesterday. Happy 2 month birthday dude.

Getting Big

We still want to post some of our older pictures. We'll eventually get to real time but there are about 800+ pictures in our library. Joey is getting big and eating like a champ. In fact, he ate about 7 oz. for dinner tonight. The first picture is Joey getting ready to come home from the hospital. The second picture was taken about 2 weeks ago. Check the difference in his belly. The shirt doesn't fit anymore. The third picture is a glamour shot that Mommy said was okay to post. Check out his physique. Sorry pal.
