Yes, Virginia...

He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist...

I listen to the broadcast on KYW every Christmas Eve while getting ready for our visit to Fatima. You should check it out. It's great.

Below is Joey's first trip to see Santa. The memorable encounter went something like this:

Joey - No! No! I want an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle!

Santa - You'll shoot your eye out kid. Merry Christmas. HO! HO! HO!

Santa dwarfs him! He is so damn cute. Looks a little peeved though.

As an eye witness to the picture taking, Jr Joey slept on the way to KOP to see Santa. I think he was 1/2 asleep for the couple of minutes he sat on his lap. Once the pictures were taken he woke up and got a good look at Santa and started to cry but his Daddy rescued him from his clutches! He never cried again even while we ate dinner at the food court.

Hey Joe -- I read where somebody bought the Christmas Story house in Cleveland, OH and restored it to its original, movie glory! It even has the leg lamp in the window...or should I say, "Major Award!" They give tours and another house across the street is the museum with things in it like Ralphie's coat. Very cool. Classic movie.

Randy's coat, I meant.

I love listening to the broadcast on KYW. I really sets the mood. Joey was unaffected at first. He was just looking at the girl taking the photo. She was trying to make him smile. He had no idea he was sitting on the big man's lap. He will love looking at this picture when he gets older.
