ICE IS BACK WITH A BRAND NEW INVENTION (MEGA EASTER POST)

Alright, let's set a couple things straight.

1. I am very sorry with the lack of posts. I'll save you from all of my lame excuses. Everything is great here - just haven't done an update in awhile.

2. Thank you very much to everyone that reads this. Even with the lack of posts, I really enjoy doing this. I love sharing Joey's stories with you and I always do (do or do not, there is no try) my best to be creative. I enjoy your comments. I read every one. And I really appreciate when you tell me that you enjoy the blog. I hope that I didn't lose too many of you during this hiatus. Welcome back.

3. There is a back log of Daddy Day Care posts that I still plan to post.

4. Be sure to pick up a copy of "The Wrestler" on blu ray.

5. I look forward to seeing everybody at Johnny and Nina's wedding next week.

Drum roll please...

Apparently, The Easter Bunny and Santa switched jobs this year because Easter looked more like Christmas at good ol' Wyncliffe Heights. Joey had a blast and has enough puffs to feed a small country. Since you haven't seen any new pics in awhile I decided to post more than usual. He still looks like his mother.

O'Flaithbheartaigh

Nicole will sure love this one.

Depending upon the website you check, Lafferty originally appeared as O'Flaithbheartaigh. Stephen did research ONCE and found O'Flaherty as an origin.

Regardless, Nicole likes to point out that Joey is about 80% Italian. And speaking of Italian and name origins, my favorite is Nicholas Martello who we all know as Edgar Hammer.

Regardless Regardless, Happy belated St Patrick's Day. Here's some pics from the uneventful day. More bibs Mike.

Family Fotos Fand Fa Few Favorites From February

FI Fried Foo Fart Feverything Fith Fan F Fif Fou Fidn't Fotice.

If I ever missed any of your birthdays I didn't do it on purpose. As I mentioned on Dana's blog, the end of Feb and beginning of March is a busy time for birthdays which include Uncle Skippy, Stephen, Aunt Maryanne, Mom Mom, and Jimmy. The best part is that Uncle Skippy has had the least actual birthdays. He was born on a leap year. I pulled out a few favorites for the blog. I hope you enjoy. Please let me know if you do not want your picture up.

Also, I included a few more favorites from Feb.

Last, I hope you all have contracted Spring Fever. I can't wait for stupid winter to stupid end. Fupid Finter.

Where Do You Think You're Goin?

Even though they are the competition, State Farm has a great commercial with a kid that grabs his leather jacket and a set of keys, and tells his father that he is going to work. Google it, youtube it, whatever, but it is worth a look.

In a similar fashion, I was leaving for work the other day and Joey became obsessed with my Swimmy, Swammy, Samsonite Briefcase. So, we let him check it out.

Classic!

What the heck is a Papasan

I'm still not sure.

We've all watch Joey grow over the past 8 months. At this point, he still has a chance. This weekend, as a rite of passage, I put his swing away in the garage at Wyncliffe Heights. The swing served its purpose and was a safe haven for naps for many months.

Thank you Swing.
